We were so thrilled that you came out and watched these talented comedians – come back again next year!
Thank you to all of the comedians, the Downtown Burbank Partnership, Visit Burbank, Barneys Beanery, The Story Tavern, The SpringHill Suites, the Holliday Inn Burbank Media Center, the Burbank Airport, The California Assembly & Mike Gatto, the staff of Flappers, the interns, and, perhaps most importantly, the weather! Thank you for not being over 100 degrees during the week of Aug 16-22, 2015. Please repeat that moderate climate next August 14-22. Hugs and kisses!
“Yeah, six-one,” Camilla Cleese says. She mugs for a beat and then traipses across the stage, displaying the obvious: Like her famous father, Cleese is really fucking tall. But height isn’t the only thing she inherited from the genius Brit John Cleese, who’s one-sixth of Monty Python. He also passed down to her a talent for funny-making.
It’s been more than a year since we last saw Mary Lynn Rajskub trying to save the world as computer nerd Chloe O’Brian, sidekick to Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer on “24: Live Another Day.” And yet the Chloe fans still come to see Rajskub — even when she’s doing stand-up.

It used to be that if they wanted live stand-up, San Fernando Valley residents drove over the hill to Hollywood.
Then Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant opened and launched the Burbank Comedy Festival. The curtain goes up on the second annual festival — Sunday through Aug. 22 — with more than 200 stand-ups, industry insider panels and after parties at Flappers, Barney’s Beanery and Story Tavern in downtown Burbank.
